Pure class, that is how i would describe both the house and the location. We spent the first week in sept. there with family and friends. The scenery was outstanding and that was from our front door. There is a fabulous friendly pub on our doorstep which we could not fault.Thank god we were doing a lot of our own cooking as the chipper opp. the pub left a lot to be desired, lets say he used a great advertiser.
As for the house,it had everything we needed and had lots of space for everyone.
thank you very much Trident homes and especially to Monica.
we hope to return next year.

We loved our week in beautiful Ballinskelligs. The house is terrific, very warm, clean and comfortable and well looked after by caretaker Monica O'Shea who is excellent and does her work in a lovely friendly, efficient and helpful way. It is perfect for a restful break and great for young and old, the beautiful beach is a few mins walk away and there is a good pub with music & food across the road also a good takeaway a few mins away. There are some nice restaurants in Portmagee and Waterville about 10K drive. Though it is a quiet area there is loads to do and see - lovely drives, cliff walks/trails, Skellig Michael boat trip or the Skellig Experience Museum across the bridge to Valentia Island. Derrynane House and the brilliant white sand beach there is a lovely day trip through stunning scenery. We will be reccomending it highly to all our friends and family and will be very happy to return in the future.

Not the best location for touring around as you have to drive around but perfect for family who might prefer to stay closer to base. Gorgeous beach just minutes walk from the property.

Had a lovely week with the family. The house was clean, comfortable and spacious. Would highly recommend Ballinskelligs Holiday Homes to my friends and family. The children had great fun playing tennis great to have on site as it meant less travelling to play parks.

It is our second time to stay there with our grandchildren. The accommodation is ideal for a sea-side holiday with them ( ages 10,11 & 13). There are some minor maintenance issues otherwise the property and the services are excellent.

My family had a lovely stay in Ballinskelligs Trident Homes. House is spacious where kids could roam around and play. It is also very private that no worries for kids playing outside and so close to a beautiful beach. We enjoyed our stay and will consider going back some time. Keep up the good maintenance.

Lovely house in a quiet area. Probably the most relaxing holiday we've had in while. Our 2 kids aged 5 and 8 loved it and want to go back next year. Great location. See ye next year.

This is our 4th year back to Ballinskelligs and the Trident homes...and we still love it. The homes are well equipped, and spacious...and the area is just incredible. We have been there in the rain and for the last two weeks in the sun....and really....it is a special spot no matter what. We WILL be back! Many thanks to Trident and especially Monica who always looks after us so well.

We have always used Trident Holiday Homes but these last ten days in Ballinskelligs have been the best of all! The house is so spacious and comfortable my nephew and his little lad aged 6 were able to join us for the long weekend. The house was beautifully warm when we arrived. Then the warm weather arrived as well! the house is so close to so many interesting places and right beside what must be one of the most beautiful beaches in Ireland. When the time came we didn't want to leave and will definitely consider going to Ballinskelligs again despite the long drive from Dublin!

Have just returned from 2 weeks in Ballinskelligs and loved it. The weather was changeable but nothing like as bad as that in UK. You do not visit Ireland to get a sun tan so take clothes for all weathers. The norm is all four seasons in a day. The houses are excellent as are the estate manageress and the two cleaning ladies.
It was a very quiet spot this early in the year except on the bank holiday weekend but for peace tranquility and wonderful sea, beach and coastal views not many places can beat it. If you want more shops and pubs etc. Cahersiveen and Waterville are not far away.
My wife and daughter even commented that Dad has never been so relaxed on holiday before he didn't have even one of his usual hissy fits.
Loved everything and will definitely consider a holiday there again.

Just a quick note to say that I’m just back from a fab 2 weeks in Ballinskelligs. Your holiday homes there are great and very well managed.
We stayed at the ballinskellig holiday homes in August and found them to be in a great location within walking distance of the fabulous blue flag beach where the kids had a ball. The houses themselves had a lovely open plan layout and really felt like a holiday home, they are very spacious and can accomadate 9 no problem. We did feel though that after this summer the houses could do with a face-lift especially the couches which had springs gone in them and were very faded and torn in places, but it really would only take small changes to bring these houses back to a very good standard. As for ballinskelligs itself it is quiet but if you are looking for a relaxing break with an exceptional beach and good accomodation this is the place for you.
