Just a quick note to say that I’m just back from a fab 2 weeks in Ballinskelligs. Your holiday homes there are great and very well managed. We stayed at the ballinskellig holiday homes in August and found them to be in a great location within walking distance of the fabulous blue flag beach where the kids had a ball. The houses themselves had a lovely open plan layout and really felt like a holiday home, they are very spacious and can accomadate 9 no problem. We did feel though that after this summer the houses could do with a face-lift especially the couches which had springs gone in them and were very faded and torn in places, but it really would only take small changes to bring these houses back to a very good standard. As for ballinskelligs itself it is quiet but if you are looking for a relaxing break with an exceptional beach and good accomodation this is the place for you.

Have just returned from 2 weeks in Ballinskelligs and loved it. The weather was changeable but nothing like as bad as that in UK. You do not visit Ireland to get a sun tan so take clothes for all weathers. The norm is all four seasons in a day. The houses are excellent as are the estate manageress and the two cleaning ladies. It was a very quiet spot this early in the year except on the bank holiday weekend but for peace tranquility and wonderful sea, beach and coastal views not many places can beat it. If you want more shops and pubs etc. Cahersiveen and Waterville are not far away.My wife and daughter even commented that Dad has never been so relaxed on holiday before he didn't have even one of his usual hissy fits.Loved everything and will definitely consider a holiday there again.

We have always used Trident Holiday Homes but these last ten days in Ballinskelligs have been the best of all! The house is so spacious and comfortable my nephew and his little lad aged 6 were able to join us for the long weekend. The house was beautifully warm when we arrived. Then the warm weather arrived as well! the house is so close to so many interesting places and right beside what must be one of the most beautiful beaches in Ireland. When the time came we didn't want to leave and will definitely consider going to Ballinskelligs again despite the long drive from Dublin!Ignatius Waters 10/6/2013
