The traditional seaside resort of Courtown is an ideal destination for a family holiday with a good choice of amusements, pubs and restaurants and a wide variety of activities on offer ranging from sailing and fishing, to horse riding and golf and should the weather turn, there is plenty to do indoors too. In addition to Courtown Leisure Centre, the village has amusements, bowling, crazy golf and Pirates Cove Adventure Centre which has activities for children of all ages.
Co. Wexford is rich in cultural and heritage attractions all of which are easily accessible while staying at our self catering accommodation in Courtown. These include The Irish National Heritage Park, The John F. Kennedy Arboretum, The Wexford County Museum, Hook Lighthouse, Dunbrody Abbey, JFK Arboretum and of course Wexford Town which is a designated Heritage Town and holds a farmers market every Saturday.
For those who want to explore the surrounding countryside, there are some lovely forest walks in the area. The old Courtown Estate has 25 hectares of woodland with a wide variety of trees and marked trails through it. Similar trails in the county include Carrigbyrne Hill, Dúnanore, J.F.K Park, The Three Rocks Trail and Tintern Abbey Trails.
