In the heart of The Burren you will find Burren Court Holiday Apartments ideally located between Ballyvaughan and Lisdoonvarna at the top of Corkscrew Hill in County Clare.
These beautiful holiday apartments are set in a small family run development of just 8 apartments set around a beautiful country garden and courtyard.
The living room and kitchen area are open plan and have been designed with your comfort in mind. The kitchen overlooks the central courtyard area and is bright and airy.
This cluster of pretty holiday apartments have 2 bedrooms and sleep 4 guests comfortably:
- Double en-suite bedroom, sleeping 2
- Twin en-suite bedroom, sleeping 2
These holiday apartments alos have a bathroom with shower and toilet.
Please note there are no baths in any of these apartments.
The laundry facility for these holiday apartments is located in a common area onsite with washing machine and dryer.
Guests can also avail of free Wi-Fi during their stay.
Outdoor furniture is located in the courtyard and garden areas for guests to enjoy.
Burren Court Holiday Homes are also 8.2 km south from Lisdoonvarna. This village is famous for its music and festivals, plus it hosts the well-known matchmaking festival each September.
Young and old will enjoy a visit to Hazel Mountain Chocolates, a bespoke bean to bar, stoneground chocolate factory located at the foothills of the Burren. Here you can see the art of making pralines in a traditional way and taste the most delicious chocolate pairings such as the Burren juniper berries or violet petals.
Other places of interest include the The Burren Perfumery, a family company making perfumes and cosmetics inspired by the Burren landscape. Or visit the award winning Doolin Cave or Aillwee Cave and Birds Of Prey Centre for a fun and educational days out for all the family.
Tea at Father Ted's House, Parochial House, Craggy Island was the house used for the series and is privately owned by Sheryl and Pat McCormack. Their family is delighted to give the public the opportunity to enjoy afternoon tea in their kitchen, complete with delicious home baking and stories of Father Ted.
Many visitors come to enjoy the Burren on foot or by bike. The quiet lanes are ideal for cycling and there are many walking trails too. The Burren Way a moderate to difficult, 123km walking trail is adjacent to the Burren Court Holiday Apartments.

A shared stairway brings you upstairs where you enter your holiday apartment in the beautiful Burren.The living room and kitchen area are open plan and have been designed with your comfort in mind. Things to See & Do in the Burren
Take a day trip to the Cliffs of Moher and the beautiful Aran Islands. Standing at 250m, the Cliffs of Moher are some of the most dramatic cliffs in Europe.
