Description
Kinvara Suites No.1 is a romantic first floor apartment set in the picturesque village of Kinvara in County Galway. This romantic apartment is located in a secluded garden in the heart of this seaside village on Ireland's Wild Atlantic Way.
Ideally, we have two holiday apartments available to rent, Kinvara Suites No.1 and Kinvara Suites No.2. Known as the gateway to the Burren National Park, Kinvara is an area of outstanding natural beauty. These coastal holiday apartments are the perfect base for a romantic retreat for a couple or a getaway with friends on the west coast of Ireland.
Kinvara Suite No.1 has eye level windows so guests can enjoy the scenic views from the comfort of their apartment. Both apartments have a south facing balcony providing stunning views of the countryside and the nearby Burren.
The apartments are light and airy, with a well-equipped kitchenette providing all you need for a comfortable self-catering holiday in Ireland. The open plan living room, dining room and bedroom area has comfortable furnishings and a flame effect wood burner stove.
Each apartment sleeps 2 guests comfortably;
- Super king bed, sleeping 2 – however this bed can also be converted into two single beds
There is a shower room with toilet and hand basin.
Medieval type banquets are held each summer in near Dunguaire Castle where you can enjoy a variety of food and entertainment. Traught Beach is a Blue Flag beach located 3km away and is perfect for a swim in the fresh Atlantic Ocean.
Young and old will enjoy a visit to Hazel Mountain Chocolates, a bespoke bean to bar, stoneground chocolate factory located at the foothills of the Burren. Here you can see the art of making pralines in a traditional way and taste the most delicious chocolate pairings such as the Burren juniper berries or violet petals.
Other places of interest include the Burren Perfumery, a family company making perfumes and cosmetics inspired by the Burren landscape. Or visit the award winning Doolin Cave or Aillwee Cave and Birds of Prey Centre for a fun and educational days out for all the family.
Tea at Father Ted's House, Parochial House, Craggy Island was the house used for the series and is privately owned by Sheryl and Pat McCormack. Their family is delighted to give the public the opportunity to enjoy afternoon tea in their kitchen, complete with delicious home baking and stories of Father Ted.
From this unique holiday apartments, you will be surrounded by magnificent scenery and an array of popular walks to explore. The trails surrounding these holiday apartments make them a perfect base for a walking or cycling holiday in Ireland. Kinvara Suites are located in an idyllic setting a wonderful retreat for a couple on Ireland’s Wild Atlantic Way.

Kinvara Suites No.1 Description – Sleeps 2
Decorated to a very high standard these holiday apartments are situated within a converted 18th century stone hayloft. An external staircase leads to these two unique holiday suites, Kinvara Suite No.1 is located on the first floor and Kinvara Suite No.2 is located on the second floor.Kinvara Suite No.1 has eye level windows so guests can enjoy the scenic views from the comfort of their apartment. Local Area – Kinvara Village
The pretty village of Kinvara is known as ‘The Head of the Sea’ and the ‘Gateway to the Burren’. Renowned for seafood especially oysters the village has all you need for a relaxing break away. Things to See & Do in the Burren
Take a day trip to the Cliffs of Moher and the beautiful Aran Islands. Standing at 250m, the Cliffs of Moher are some of the most dramatic cliffs in Europe.
