This stunning house is surrounded by 20 acres of mature woodlands and overlooks Kylmore Lough.
Kylemore Holiday Apartment No.11 is part of a cluster of self-catering holiday apartments within Kylemore House. These unique holiday apartments have been beautifully renovated and refurbished to a modern standard while still keeping the original character and charm of this Georgian property.
These holiday apartments are an ideal base for exploring Connemara National Park and Galway’s stunning coastline. Discover the wilds of Connemara, cycle rural lanes or walk the Twelve Bens, a mountain range of mostly sharp-peaked quartzite summits and ridges located in the west of Ireland.
This first floor holiday apartment is set over two levels and consists of an open plan kitchen, dining and living room area. The kitchen has all modern conveniences that you would expect in a self-catering holiday apartment in Ireland. The living room area has comfortable seating, multi-channel TV and offers spectacular views of the Kylemore Lough and surrounding countryside. The bathroom is located on this level and has a large shower cubicle, WC and sink. A spiral staircase leads to the spacious mezzanine where you will find the bedroom area.

Please note these holiday apartments are unsuitable for babies, infants and toddlers due to the internal stairs and spiral staircase. There is no capacity for cots or any baby equipment. Children from age 5 years and upwards are welcome to stay.
Guests have access to the communal laundry room located on the ground floor.
Please note there are no lifts in the building.
The bustling city of Galway is just a 60-minute drive away making it a must see during your stay. Galway is full of traditional pubs that often offer live Irish folk music. There is an abundance of cafes, boutiques and art galleries which line the winding lanes of the Latin Quarter, which retains portions of the medieval city walls. The city is full of attractions and history making it a must see on your visit in Connemara.

This is an extra charge which is mostly payable to the Property Manager/Owner. In some cases, energy is charged at a fixed daily rate or a rate per unit on the units consumed or you are required to top up a Pre-Paid Meter while in others, energy charges are included in the rate you have paid. We advise you to check with the local Owner/ Property Manager prior to arrival how this is calculated or prior to making the booking.
2. Security Deposit:
A minimum refundable security deposit of €200 (per property) must be paid prior to check-in to your holiday home to the local Property Manager/ Owner. This is either taken over the phone by pre-authorising your credit card when you call the Property Manager to arrange your arrival time 48 hours in advance of arrival or at others it is taken on arrival. In some locations and at certain times of year this can increase to €500 per property.

Local Area & Letterfrack Village
There are many spectacular attractions close by, including Kylemore Abbey which is just a 2-minute drive away. The estate includes large walled Victorian Gardens and has daily guided tours. Letterfrack is a vibrant village just 6km away lying at the head of Ballynakill Bay, overlooked by the majestic Diamond Mountain and by the incredible Connemara National Park. The main entrance to the Connemara National Park is located in the village, and the starting point for an array of stunning scenic walks. One of the most popular of these walks is the extraordinary raised pathway which leads all the way to the top of Diamond Mountain. There is plenty to do from Letterfrack including sea or pier fishing, dolphin watching and scenic boat trips. From Letterfrack village you and your guests are just a short drive to the beautiful white sandy beaches of the Renvyle Peninsula, one of Ireland’s best beaches.
