Fleur Holiday Cottage is a pretty white washed cottage with beautiful views towards Carrauntoohil and the MacGillycuddy's Reeks in County Kerry. Located in an area of outstanding natural beauty yet this unique cottage is conveniently located close to the vibrant town of Killorglin.
This vibrant town of Killorglin is within walking distance of this holiday cottage, being just over a mile away.
The cottage style kitchen is packed with character, with a Belfast sink and a half door overlooking the pretty garden and mountain view beyond. The kitchen is well equipped and has everything you need for a comfortable self-catering holiday in Ireland.
The welcoming living room with wooden floors and DVD player has an open fire and cosy furniture, perfect for relaxing after a day exploring the local attractions in Killorglin and beyond.
The open plan dining room and sun room with slate floor provides magnificent garden and mountain views.
Fleur Holiday Cottage is a 3-bed holiday home sleeping 6 guests comfortably:
- Double bedroom, sleeping 2
- Double (5ft) and single bedroom, sleeping 3
- Single bedroom (2’10” bed), sleeping 1 child only
The large bathroom has a shower over bath and toilet.
Outside this pretty holiday cottage, you will find a large landscaped garden with garden furniture perfect for alfresco dining or enjoying the views. Kids will love exploring the winding paths through the mature garden.
This holiday cottage in Kerry has oil central heating and electricity is payable upon departure to the On-site Manager.
Wi-Fi is available and included in the rental fee.
This is strictly a no smoking holiday cottage.
Off street parking is available for two cars at this holiday cottage.
Please note there is a small seasonal water drain in the garden.
Killorglin is within the Reeks District tourist area, and has a great selection of pubs, cafes and restaurants. This area is known for its outdoor activities, mountains walks and water sports
The annual Puck Fair festival takes place in Killorglin over several days each August, and ends with the crowning and parading of a "king" wild goat.
Cronin’s Yard and Tearooms is the traditional starting point for climbs of Ireland’s highest mountain, Carrauntoohil. This starting point is a 26-minute drive away and a pretty setting situated at the entrance to the Hag’s Glen at Mealis. Cronin’s Yard Loop walk is an 8km moderate walk climbing to a height of 300m.
For golfers there are many local golf clubs in the area such as Castlerosse Golf Club, Beaufort Golf Club, KJillarney Golf & Fishing Club, and Ross Golf Club.
This is truly a wonderful base for a self-catching holiday in Kerry with an array of local activities include fishing, cycling, hill walking, kayaking, trail running, bird watching and magical beaches to explore along Kerry’s Wild Atlantic Way.

In some cases, energy is charged at a fixed daily rate or a rate per unit on the units consumed or you are required to top up a Pre-Paid Meter while in others, energy charges are included in the rate you have paid. We advise you to check with the local Owner/ Property Manager prior to arrival how this is calculated or prior to making the booking.
2. Security Deposit:
A minimum refundable security deposit of €200 (per property) must be paid prior to check-in to your holiday home to the local Property Manager/ Owner. This is either taken over the phone by pre-authorising your credit card when you call the Property Manager to arrange your arrival time 48 hours in advance of arrival or at others it is taken on arrival. In some locations and at certain times of year this can increase to €500 per property.

The picturesque town of Killorglin is situated on the Ring of Kerry and the Wild Atlantic Way. This vibrant town is within walking distance, being just over a mile away and contains the ruins of Castle Conway. The town is located beside the River Laune which flows from Lough Leane, one of the Lakes of Killarney. From Fleur Holdiay Cottage you can explore country lanes or venture future up Ireland’s highest mountain, Carrauntoohil. Lisleibane car park is a 23-minute drive from Fleur Holiday Cottage, an alternative trailhead for climbing Carrauntoohil. The trail is very peaceful and beautiful, the round trip takes around 6 hours and involves steep climbs.
