Ships Harbour Cottage, a beautiful white washed cottage with a traditional cottage exterior while inside the cottage has been refurbished to a bright and modern space. Located on Inishnee Island this unique holiday cottage has wonderful views of the surrounding landscape of Connemara, County Galway.
Access Inishee Island via a bridge, Ships Harbour Cottage is situated just a 6km from the pretty seaside village of Roundstone in County Galway. Families will love the freedom this unique holiday cottage can offer plus it’s the perfect base for a fishing holiday in Ireland and an ideal location for exploring the Connemara region.
This pretty holiday cottage is a 2-bedroom sleeping 4 guests:
• Double bed, sleeping 2
• 2 Single Beds, sleeping 2
The bathroom has a large bath and electric shower. There is an outside storage shed perfect for stowing away bikes, wet suits and all the holiday essentials.
Dine alfresco on the outside garden furniture provided and enjoy the view of the Wild Atlantic Way and beyond.
Towels, bed linen, heating and electricity is included in the rental price. There is a cot and high chair available upon request, please mention at the time of booking.
Wi-Fi is also available at this beautiful seaside holiday cottages in Galway.
There are no pets allowed at this holiday cottage and smoking is strictly prohibited.
Inishnee Island also has a scenic looped walk, one of the National Looped Walks maintained by the National Trails Office which was set up as part of the Irish Trails Strategy in 2007. Inishnee Loop walk is an easy 6km trail on country roads suitable for all ages.
You can reach Roundstone village via a bridge from Inishnee Island. This seaside village boasts a variety of restaurants serving fresh fish caught locally and supplied by the local fisherman.
The local food and grocery shops will provide you with the essentials you require on your next self-catering holiday in Connemara. There are also a number of traditional craft shops which sell a variety of beautiful hand-crafted jewellery and pottery.

This beautiful and idyllic island featured on BBC’s Monty Halls Great Irish Escape.
