After a hike up Croagh Patrick venture into the picturesque town of Westport to explore its many shops, cafes and traditional Irish pubs. A little further west is Achill Island, accessible by a land bridge from Mulranny this popular island has an array of wonderful beaches and cliff walks. The beaches at Old Head, Carramore and Golden Strand are perfect for picnics and swimming on summer days or winter walks.
