Butterchurn Farm is a large and comfortable holiday farmhouse located near Bridgetown in County Wexford. This charming and unique holiday home has been beautifully renovated while still keeping many traditional features.
Located between Kilmore and Bridgetown and only 7km from the pretty fishing village of Kilmore Quay. This spacious holiday accommodation is ideally placed for exploring Ireland’s Sunny South East.
Please note the fireplace is for decoration purpose only.
Butterchurn Farm has 4 bedrooms and sleeps a maximum of 6 guests comfortably:

There is a separate shower room with shower cubicle and a separate toilet. Outside this charming holiday farmhouse is an enclosed graveled courtyard with garden furniture provided. Please note there is 1 step to the courtyard.
Kilmore is located 2km south which is home to Mary Barry’s Bar renowned for its extensive menu serving a selection of sea food landed locally in Kilmore Quay.
At the end of the village is the lively harbour and marina. Kilmore Quay has a long tradition associated with angling and the harbour is a busy hub throughout the year. The beautiful marina has a 55-boat berth facility.
From the harbour you can take a boat trip out to the Saltee Islands, among the most ancient in Europe and are a haven for sea birds from Gannets and Gulls to Puffins and Manx Shearwaters. The best time to visit is the spring and early-summer nesting season.
The area around the village has many unspoilt beaches, offering miles of the finest sand dunes in the south-east. Along with the Saltee Islands, the stretches of natural sand dunes are some of the features that make Kilmore Quay unique in Europe and beloved of visitors and locals.
Walking the Ballyteige Burrow trail, one of the finest sand dune systems in the South East of Ireland. There are three trail options to choose from, along the beach, through the dunes or on the path by the fence that separates the dunes from the adjoining farmland. You will find an abundance of seabirds and wildlife around this nature reserve.
A little further afield is the bustling town of Wexford with many shops, restaurants, stunning blue flag beaches and a wide range of activities.
Both Wexford and Waterford are within easy touring distance of this delightful holiday home, making Butterchurn House a great base for your next self-catering holiday in Ireland.

Kilmore Quay is a picturesque village located just 7.5km from Butterchurn Farm. You and your guests will be spoilt for choice with a variety of seafood restaurants with fresh daily catch. There are also traditional pubs, a children’s playground, sandy coves and boat hire all in the beautiful fishing village of Kilmore Quay. People travel from miles to taste the famous and delicious locally caught fish and chips.
