Cornagower East Brittas Bay is a modern bunglow and recently refurbished holiday home in County Wicklow. The modern and bright kitchen is well equipped with all the essentials you need for a comfortable self-catering holiday in Ireland.
Relax in the open plan kitchen, dining and sitting room with family and friends. This bright open plan space with floor to ceiling windows provides views over the coastal garden. This seaside holiday home has Saorview so you can access the best in Irish content plus you can listen to radio.

About Brittas Bay & the Local Area
Brittas Bay has been awarded the ‘European Union Blue Flag several times. This beautiful 5km stretch of sand and sand dunes, is designated as a Special Area of Conservation. It is an area of ecological importance and habitats of interest include sand dunes, ferns and grassland areas. The dunes are home to many interesting wildlife species and plants, including a number of rare species. This popular beach on the east coast of Ireland is life guarded throughout the bathing season.
Brittas Bay is a lovely community with rich heritage and a selection of local amenities including a primary school and church. It is said that Brittas Bay was the initial landing site of St Patrick.
Close by is D Store Daybreak which is open all year around or Excell Stop & Shop/BB Mini Market which is open during the summer months. Bay Cafe is a well-known café located beside D Store, this popular café serves delicious homemade dishes and sells fresh sourdough bread daily. Top Golf Courses in WicklowFor golf enthusiasts Cornagower East Brittas Bay is an ideal base for a golfing holiday in Ireland. There are several well-known and top golf courses in Wicklow including The European Club, a world class links course designed by Pat Ruddy. A little further north or inland you will find an array of beautiful golf courses such as Druids Health, Druids Glen, Powerscourt Golf Club and the Woodenbridge Golf Club to name but a few. Potters Point is another local golf course, open year-round, a pay & play 9-hole par 3 course.
Local Attractions in County Wicklow
Cornagower East Brittas Bay is 16 km south of Wicklow town, and 14km north of Arklow town. Both towns have a lovely selection of cafes, bars, restaurants and shops.
Wicklow Bowl and Kidzone located on the outskirts of Wicklow town is a great way to spend a rainy day with family and friends. Wicklow Gaol is another good choice and providing an unforgettable journey through an original prison building.
There are a wide variety of cultural and heritage sites in County Wicklow including Avondale House & Gardens, the monastic site at Glendalough, Greenan Farm Museum & Maze, and the world famous Powerscourt House & Gardens and Mount Usher Gardens.
For the more adventurous, the area has a great selection of outdoor activities to offer including horse riding, surfing, kayaking, trail running, surfing, mountain biking, rock climbing and more. The Wicklow Way is just one of countless trails you can explore on your next self-catering holiday in Wicklow. The famous Wicklow Way trail meanders through the Wicklow Hills from the South of Dublin into County Carlow. One of many wonderful trails to hike with breath-taking views and an abundance of wildlife including sika deer, hybrid red-sika deer, feral goats, mountain hares, badgers, stoats, otters, red squirrels, grey squirrels and bats.
For another fantastic day out venture to Splash Valley, a new aqua-park which opened in Hidden Valley Holiday Park in Rathdrum in County Wicklow. The 1,800-square-metre park includes some 30 obstacles arranged around a small, manmade lake. This unique park is only a 20-minute drive from Brittas Bay.
Close by is the outdoor adventure park called Clara Lara Fun Park. It provides a healthy and creative fun day out for families and groups of children. This is an extra charge which is mostly payable to the Property Manager/Owner. In some cases, energy is charged at a fixed daily rate or a rate per unit on the units consumed or you are required to top up a Pre-Paid Meter while in others, energy charges are included in the rate you have paid. We advise you to check with the local Owner/ Property Manager prior to arrival how this is calculated or prior to making the booking.
2. Security Deposit:
A minimum refundable security deposit of €200 (per property) must be paid prior to check-in to your holiday home to the local Property Manager/ Owner. This is either taken over the phone by pre-authorising your credit card when you call the Property Manager to arrange your arrival time 48 hours in advance of arrival or at others it is taken on arrival. In some locations and at certain times of year this can increase to €500 per property.
