Bundoran – County Donegal

Bundoran is a traditional seaside resort and great holiday destination in Ireland. Renowned for its surfing beaches internationally, Bundoran is a hive of activity. This sandy beach stretches for 2km from the north end of Bundoran town to the Erne Estuary at Ballyshannon. It is frequently referred to as the ‘Surf Capital of Ireland’ with a number of surf schools located in the area. Learn to surf, ride a horse on Tullan Strand, visit Fairy Bridge one of the oldest tourist attractions in Ireland or walk the many coastal routes. 

Sea sessions music festival is one of Ireland’s top music festivals and takes place every June in Bundoran which hosts some of the biggest music artists in the world. If you are lucky enough to get a ticket it is one of the highlights of the year in the town and brings visitors from all over the world. There is also a regular country music circuit with top acts playing in some of Bundoran’s many top music venues. 

For golf lovers, Bundoran Golf Club is a clifftop link situated on a rugged headland overlooking Donegal Bay on the Wild Atlantic Way. The 18-hole, Par 70 course provides golfers with panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean.
