Carna Holiday Home is a large and luxuries holiday accommodation situated on Galway’s Wild Atlantic Way. Ideally located 400metres from the village of Carna in County Galway. Carna is an Irish speaking village in a Gaeltacht area on the west coast of Ireland. Carna Holiday Home is a 35-minute drive south of Clifden and a 1 hour 30-minute drive west of Galway city.
There is a selection of beautiful sandy beaches in the local area. Moyrus Beach is a 6-minute drive from Carna Holiday Home, a white sandy beach situated beside an ancient 6th century church. Trá Mór and Mweenish Beach are two other magnificent beaches worth visiting in the local area. This pretty village on the west coast of Ireland is a truly wonderful holiday destination for a luxury rural retreat and coastal holiday in Ireland.
French doors open from the kitchen to the rear patio and garden. Outdoor seating is available on the patio, a perfect spot to sit and relax on a sunny day. A BBQ is available for summer alfresco dining.

Ideally on this level there is an additional living room and laundry room. This living room has comfortable seating and television, an ideal place to relax or for younger guests to hang out, watch TV and play games. The laundry room provides extra storage and is fitted with a washing machine, large tumble dryer, iron and ironing board.
The property is oil centrally heated throughout and parking is available for up to two cars outside this holiday home. Wi-Fi is included in the rental fee.
In this pretty village you will find a selection of shops, restaurants, pubs, a pharmacy, café, petrol station and hotel. The traditional pubs have many unplanned Irish music sessions in the summer months. Carna also contains a Garda Síochána station, a health centre and an Irish Coastguard lifeboat. The National University of Ireland also has an Irish-language and educational centre Áras Shorcha Ní Ghuairim situated near Carna.
Saint Macdara’s Island is located off the coast at Mace head. Macdara is the patron saint of fishermen, and each July an annual pilgrimage takes place on the island where a mass and a blessing of the boats takes place.

2. Security Deposit:
A minimum refundable security deposit of €200 (per property) must be paid prior to check-in to your holiday home to the local Property Manager/ Owner. This is either taken over the phone by pre-authorising your credit card when you call the Property Manager to arrange your arrival time 48 hours in advance of arrival or at others it is taken on arrival. In some locations and at certain times of year this can increase to €500 per property.

This luxurious dormer bungalow offers both sea and mountain views making it an an excellent base for a coastal holiday with family or get-together with friends. The inviting porch and hall leads to an open plan living room and kitchen area. The living room has comfortable leather couches, wood floor, a wood burning stove and large flat screen multi-channel smart TV. Continuing through the living area and up one step into the modern kitchen and dining room area. The well-equipped kitchen offers ample storage and integrated appliances, including oven and grill, microwave, dishwasher, and large fridge freezer.
