Cleggan Holiday Home is also only 800 meters from Selerna Beach and 6 km form the beautiful beach connecting Omey island to the mainland.
Cleggan Holiday Home Description – Sleeps 8-10The modern holiday home is extremely spacious and the internal décor is beautiful. As you enter Cleggan Holiday Home you are greeted by a large, bright and spacious hallway. The living room has a wood burning stove and comfortable furnishing. This is a lovely room where you can sit back and enjoy the breath-taking views of the beautiful Connemara landscape.
The large kitchen has all the necessary equipment you would expect in a self-catering holiday home in Ireland. Guests can also enjoy stunning coastal views from the kitchen. The adjoining utility room includes a washing machine and dryer and provides guests with extra storage.
The sea views continue in the attractively decorated second lounge located beside the dining room, a perfect area for relaxing in the evenings.
Cleggan Holiday Home is a 4-bedroom self-catering holiday home sleeping 8-10 guests:

There is also a bathroom with a large enclosed shower located on the ground floor.

Cleggan Holiday Home boasts spectacular views of Cleggan Bay, Sallerna Beach and the Aughrus Peninsula from almost all rooms within this stunning seaside holiday home.
Guests can enjoy dining alfresco on the large outside patio area.
There is also the benefit of a shed for extra storage for you and your guests and ample parking.
Wi-Fi is included in this holiday home.
Towels and linen included and there is also a cot and highchair available on request.
This is strictly a no- smoking holiday home.
Local Area – Cleggan VillageCleggan is a picturesque fishing village with a busy village harbour. Ferries leave the pier daily for Inishbofin Island, and there is also a ferry to Inishturk. Cleggan has four bars (Oliver’s, Joyce’s, Newman’s, and The Pier Bar), one grocer, and a post office. It also boasts a children’s playground, community hall, and lots of car parking spaces.
You can take a day trip to Inishbofin by ferry from Cleggan harbour or enjoy a day sea fishing. Explore the off-shore islands or take a pony trek along the coast towards Omey Strand and Omey Island.
During the busy season the bars are busy with traditional music to entertain visitors and locals alike. In addition to trips to the local islands, popular leisure activities for visitors include horseback riding, fishing trips and island tours. Cleggan Riding Centre offers scenic pony trekking across Cleggan Beach and to tidal island of Omey at low tide. Sea fishing charters and island tours are also offered in the village. You and your guests will be spoilt for choice with the many amenities this part of the Connemara region has to offer.
Explore Connemara during the day and relax or entertain at the holiday home in the evenings. It is worth exploring the immediate area to experience the panoramic views of the surrounding countryside and breath-taking seascapes. Cleggan Holiday Home is an ideal holiday home for families and groups of friends.
IMPORTANT NOTES1. Heating and Electricity:
This is an extra charge which is mostly payable to the Property Manager/Owner. In some cases, energy is charged at a fixed daily rate or a rate per unit on the units consumed or you are required to top up a Pre-Paid Meter while in others, energy charges are included in the rate you have paid. We advise you to check with the local Owner/ Property Manager prior to arrival how this is calculated or prior to making the booking.
2. Security Deposit:
A minimum refundable security deposit of €200 (per property) must be paid prior to check-in to your holiday home to the local Property Manager/ Owner. This is either taken over the phone by pre-authorising your credit card when you call the Property Manager to arrange your arrival time 48 hours in advance of arrival or at others it is taken on arrival. In some locations and at certain times of year this can increase to €500 per property.
