To avail of the onsite facilities and swimming pool guests must book a slot in advance. Costs and booking times must be made directly via the leisure centres main reception (051) 38053. Time slots are limited to 45 minutes in the swimming pool, gym, jacuzzi and steam room.

Things to See & Do in County Waterford

Nestling beneath the old stone bridge in Halfway House, and set against a background of historical buildings you will find Jack Meade’s Bar and Pet Farm. This unique pub is a popular destination for both locals and visitors and only 3.6km from Faithlegg Estate. The pub dates back to 1705 and has been in the present family since 1857. It is the perfect place to relax have a drink and soak up its unique atmosphere, while the children get to enjoy the playground and pet farm.

The nearby village of Cheekpoint, 2km from the estate has a wonderful playground and two seaside restaurants, McAlpin's Suir Inn and Cottage Bistro.

There is a great selection of beaches all within an easy drive. The closest being Woodstown, a tidal beach with long sandy stretches. Dunmore East, which is about a 15-minute drive away offers something for everyone with its sheltered picturesque coves, cliff walk, colourful fishing harbour, great bars and restaurants.

Enjoy a day at Wibit Wipeout Aquapark which is guaranteed to entertain many of the younger age group or visit Tramore, with its famous 5km of fine sandy beach where you can swim, surf, enjoy a boat trip and a visit to the Amusement Park.
