Situated 20 min drive from Wexford Town, Hilltop Haven, is a Holiday Home set near the village of Kilmore (0.8km), home to the award-winning Mary Barrys Seafood Bar and Restaurant and Quigley’s Traditional Irish Pub, both venues are highly recommended and are within walking distance of this house.
Kilmore Quay (5km) is a traditional fishing village filled with wonderfully preserved thatch cottages, stunning beaches, sand dunes, walking trails and some more great places to eat and drink in a scenic coastal location.
Perched on top of the hill the house has fabulous views of rural Irish countryside and mountains, the surrounding landscape is stunning, and can be enjoyed year-round from the comfort of this property.
Spacious open plan kitchen and dining area contains all the modern conveniences, including a large American fridge. The dining table seats 6 people. The comfortable living room has an electric fire and a TV. WIFI is also available. Central heating throughout.

VIRTUAL TOUR:
There are many beaches in the area upon which you can enjoy the salt air any time of the year, bring your bucket and spade in the warmer months when a day on the beach and a dip in the sea is recommended.
Hikers can enjoy The Kilmore Quay Walking Trail which is 4.5km long and will take about an hour to complete.
The Norman Way starting in Rosslare and ending in New Ross is an ancient trail passing through Kilmore Quay and takes you to many sites dating back to the Norman invasion.
Located nearby is Ballycross Apple farm is a great attraction for children, where they can meet animals, try pedal tractors or go-cards. Farm is open June to November.
The Wexford coastline is dotted with stunning beaches with fine sand and blue sea, great for long walks, beach combing, swimming, surfing, fishing and fun. Ballyhealy Beach, the little beach in Kilmore Quay and The Burrow at Kilmore Quay are all popular locally, a little further along the coast Cullanstown Strand, Carne Beach and Rosslare Strand are also great to explore.
The Saltee Islands are just 5 km from Kilmore Quay and are home to an array of seabirds such as puffins, gannets, guillemots, razorbills, fulmars, many shearwaters, gulls as well as many other species of wildlife. Saltee Ferry is a daily ferry service running from Kilmore Quay to the Great Saltee from April through to October each year
Add a drive to the Hookhead Peninsula to your itinerary Hook Lighthouse is the oldest intact, operational lighthouse in the world. Take a tour and learn of medieval times and life as a lighthouse keeper and enjoy the spectacular views from the lighthouse balcony to the rugged coastline of Hookhead.
A trip to the Irish National Heritage Park is a must on your visit to Wexford with over 9,000 years of Irish History waiting to be explored. 2. Heating and Electricity:
This is an extra charge which is mostly payable to the Property Manager/Owner. In some cases, energy is charged at a fixed daily rate or a rate per unit on the units consumed or you are required to top up a Pre Paid Meter while in others, energy charges are included in the rate you have paid. We advise you to check with the local Owner/ Property Manager prior to arrival how this is calculated or prior to making the booking.
3. Security Deposit:
A minimum refundable security deposit of €200 (per property) must be paid prior to check-in to your holiday home to the local Property Manager/ Owner. This is either taken over the phone by pre-authorising your credit card when you call the Property Manager to arrange your arrival time 48 hours in advance of arrival or at others it is taken on arrival. In some locations and at certain times of the year this can increase to €500 per property.
4. In peak season (30th of June – 25th of August) this holiday home only takes Friday-Friday bookings.
