Dunmanway is a town in County Cork, in the southwest of Ireland. It is the geographical centre of the region known as West Cork. It is the birthplace of Sam Maguire, an Irish Protestant republican, for whom the trophy of the All-Ireland Senior Football Championship is named.

The town centre is built on and around two rivers, each of which are tributaries of the larger River Bandon, which passes by at the east end of the town. The town’s main street has many lovely shop fronts, a town very well maintained and presented. Take a stroll through the town, enjoy some time out in the lovely seated area by the waterside, and enjoy this peaceful spot.

Location of the town of Dunmanway is just 1 hours’ drive from Cork Airport and Cork City, Clonakilty is just 30 minutes’ drive, Bantry is just 50 minutes and in the other direction Macroom is also just 50 minutes’ drive away from Dunmanway and Skibbereen is 40 minutes. There is a great community spirit in the town, just take a stroll around to get a feel of town and enjoy the traditional shop fronts.
