Newtownabbey is a large settlement north of Belfast in County Antrim. Sometimes considered to be a suburb of Belfast, it is separated from the rest of the city by Cavehill and Fortwilliam Golf Course.

Local retail and leisure facilities in the area include the Abbey Centre, the Valley Leisure Centre, the Ballyearl Arts & Leisure Centre, The Theatre at the Mill, Glengormley Movie House, Glengormley Sports Bowl and three large public parks. The main campus for the University of Ulster is also based in the Jordanstown area of Newtownabbey.

There are excellent transport links in the area and the bus stop into the city centre is only 100 yards from this holiday accommodation.

Belfast is served by two airports, both within easy reach, and Belfast ferry port is just a few minutes away with daily ferries to and from Scotland and England. Guests can actually see the ferries from the house!

Newtownabbey is the is perfect base for families or groups wishing to explore the city of Belfast and its selection of wonderful attractions, plus you can easily reach the famous sights of the surrounding area in Northern Ireland.
