Due to the latest Government Directive to extend the current restrictions, holiday homes under our management will remain closed until the end of April 2021. We will review and update you once the Government have updated the current restrictions.

Therefore, we will not be taking any holiday bookings with an arrival date before the end of April 2021.

Our office staff are working remotely and they are receiving a high level of calls. With that in mind if your booking is altered in any way by a change in government guidelines you will receive a holiday voucher for the accommodation cost valid for a period of 12 months at the same location.

Due to the fact our staff are working remotely you will experience delays if you choose to call our head office therefore, we really would appreciate if you could only email regarding Covid-19 cancellations and we will respond to your request as soon as possible.

Non-Tourist Related Bookings

We will endeavour to provide assistance where we can to accommodate non-tourist related bookings whilst also complying with the Government guidelines therefore, our website will be processing bookings as normal for the following reasons:

  • For essential workers

  • For family purposes, such as caring for parent(s) or people in vulnerable categories

  • Where you have no other permanent accommodation

  • Should you need to self-isolate

If you are staying in one of our holiday homes please ensure you are adhering to the Government guidelines in place and that your use of the holiday home is for essential purposes only.

Trident Holiday Homes Service

TD Holidays Ltd t/a Trident Holiday Homes is a limited liability company incorporated under the laws of the Republic of Ireland, and having its registered address at E8 Network Enterprise Park, Kilcoole, Co. Wicklow, A63 F820, Ireland

Through the "www.tridentholidayhomes.ie" website,  we market accommodation in Ireland & Overseas. For all accommodation located outside the Republic of Ireland we provide an online booking service through which Accommodation Providers based oversees, can offer their products and booking services, and that the website users can us to make a reservation.

Trident Holiday Homes itself does not provide the services offered outside of the Republic of Ireland on the "www.tridentholidayhomes.ie" website and therefore does not sell the accommodation outside the Republic of Ireland.

When a user makes a booking for a holiday property outside the Republic of Ireland via the "www.tridentholidayhomes.ie" website, they are committed into a direct contractual relationship with the Accommodation Provider with whom the reservation is made with. Trident Holiday Homes communicates the users personal and credit card details to the applicable Accommodation Provider who processes the payment on a SSL secure server and sends the user a confirmation email and receipt.

Our booking service is free for the user.

Trident Holiday Homes doesn't charge the user for any booking or cancellation fees nor any other fees related to their reservation on a holiday home outside the Republic of Ireland, and no payment is made to Trident Holiday Homes for such bookings. The payment is directly charged by the Accommodation Provider.

The Accommodation Providers

The Accommodation Providers authorised to offer their products or services and whose deals are displayed on the "www.tridentholidayhomes.ie" website are professional agencies in a contractual relationship with Trident Holiday Homes.

As part of this contractual relationship, Trident Holiday Homes receives a commission from the provider after that the user has stayed at the provider's accommodation or benefited from the service or product.

Accommodation Providers Terms and Conditions

Each Accommodation Provider has its own detailed terms & conditions. Summary booking conditions are shown on the property listing page on "www.tridentholidayhomes.ie" and on the link to General Terms on the Booking form which each user must acknowledge that they have read and accept prior to making a booking. Users will receive detailed Terms & Conditions by the Accommodation Provider by email after a booking is made.

Payments to Accommodation Providers and Travel Insurance

We would advise that all payments made to Accommodation Providers are made by credit card rather than by Bank Transfer or Debit Card as this method of payment offers a more secure payment process. It also protects the user in the event of the failure of the Accommodation Provider to provide the user with the services they booked.

We also strongly advise that each user takes out travel insurance to cover them against any loss of monies paid to the Accommodation Provider or for travel costs in the event of the need to cancel their booking. As Trident Holiday Homes do not take any payment from the user, they will need to deal directly with Accommodation Provider in relation to cancellations.


Accommodation listings and Reviews

The Accommodation Providers supplies us with the accommodation listing details including all wording, photographs and reviews. As such we take no responsibility for any inaccuracies, omissions or mistakes in these listings which are solely the responsibility of the Accommodation Providers. We do as a matter of policy only deal with professional agencies so as to ensure that these listings are as far as possible accurate and not misleading.

Extra Charges

There may be extra charges payable locally for some optional services such as mid stay cleaning, airport pick-ups, welcome packs, beach towels, cots, highchairs etc. Such charges will be based on what requests a user makes with the Accommodation Provider when the initial booking is made or at a later date if applicable. Cots and highchairs are available in most properties but must be booked in advance at the time of booking, please note charges will apply for such requests.

Group bookings and Bookings from People under 25 years of Age

Many Accommodation Providers reserve the right to refuse reservations for parties of 4 or more persons of the same sex. Normally they also do not accept group bookings under the age of 25 or bookings for hens or stag groups unless otherwise agreed in writing. If you are unsure about this please call us on +353 (0)1 201 8414 to check if the provider will accept your booking.

Use of Vouchers

We do not accept the use of Trident Holiday Homes issued vouchers to book rental properties outside the Republic of Ireland which in all cases must be paid for by the payment’s methods indicated on the booking form.

Complaints and Refunds

The contractual relationship is established between the Accommodation Provider and the user. Therefore, any claim regarding the stay policy or the performance of the services shall be addressed directly to the Accommodation Provider.

All complaints will need to be initially be dealt with by Accommodation Provider and if required we will deal with the Accommodation Provider to try to find a resolution of any unresolved issues that might arise. In all cases the payment of any refund or compensation will be borne by the Accommodation Provider and ultimately, they have final say as to the level of any refund/compensation will be offered. We will endeavour to ensure a fair resolution to any complaints lodged.
