This beautiful holiday apartment overlooks Clifden Bay and is ideally located in the centre of Clifden town. This 3-bedroom apartment, sleeping 5 and is an ideal base for exploring the vibrant town of Clifden and Connemara.
Clifden Bay Holiday Apartment has 3 bedrooms and sleeps 5. The apartment is bright and spacious with a large outdoor terrace, that overlooks the picturesque Clifden Bay. It is located on the lower level of the apartment block and is accessed from street level by descending a flight of exterior steps.
The lounge area is furnished with comfortable cream Italian leather sofas, electric stove heater, TV with Sky channels. French doors in the living area provide access to the large outdoor terrace which offers views of Clifden Bay and harbour. The fully equipped kitchen includes all necessary equipment and the adjacent dining area has an extending table which can seat 6 persons.
The apartment has three bedrooms – one double room, one single room and one king size bedroom with ensuite bathroom & shower. All bedrooms offer lovely views over the terrace, garden and harbour. There is also a separate family bathroom, with bath & overhead shower, WC & sink.
The outdoor terrace is very spacious and has outdoor furniture perfect for dining and relaxing.
Wi-Fi available and electricity and heating is included. Pets are welcome by request only. Pay and display parking available and free public parking available close by.
This wonderful holiday apartment is a two-minute walk to wonderful shops, restaurants, bars with traditional Irish music and café’s of Clifden town. Explore Clifden Castle, a ruined manor house west of the town of Clifden. It was built c. 1818 for John D'Arcy, the local landowner, in the Gothic Revival style.
Connemara National Park is a vast expanse of mountains, bogs, heathland and lakes. The park is also home to a herd of Connemara ponies. Connemara’s coastline has tiny coves, bays and fishing villages like Roundstone and Leenane. Local activities include kayaking, fishing, hill walking, pony trekking, golf, boat trips and much more.
An ideal holiday and base for couples, families or small groups of friends.
This is an extra charge which is mostly payable to the Property Manager/Owner. In some cases, energy is charged at a fixed daily rate or a rate per unit on the units consumed or you are required to top up a Pre-Paid Meter while in others, energy charges are included in the rate you have paid. We advise you to check with the local Owner/ Property Manager prior to arrival how this is calculated or prior to making the booking.
2. Security Deposit:
A minimum refundable security deposit of €200 (per property) must be paid prior to check-in to your holiday home to the local Property Manager/ Owner. This is either taken over the phone by pre-authorising your credit card when you call the Property Manager to arrange your arrival time 48 hours in advance of arrival or at others it is taken on arrival. In some locations and at certain times of year this can increase to €500 per property.

Clifden Bay Holiday Apartment is a pet-friendly holiday apartment. This property will accept a maximum of 1 dog. Please reserve at the time of booking via our call centre +353 (0)1 201 8440, as your pet will not be accepted without prior confirmation. Pets are not permitted in the bedrooms, on carpeted areas or on the furniture. Pets must not be left in the property unsupervised and must be exercised off premises. Where the number of pets is exceeded, or additional cleaning is required due to pets being on furniture, carpets or beds, the charge for the additional cleaning will be made against your security deposit.IMPORTANT NOTES
