It has direct access to the beach and has a spacious sea facing veranda. You will be looking straight at the Ballycotton Lighthouse from the master bedroom window, it’s magnificent.
I can imagine that a summer vacation here would truly be, bliss.
I stayed during the winter months, it had it’s own charm, even if it was freezing outside. The cottage was so cosy and warm to return home to after a day out and about.
There are many fine dining restaurants, cafés and pubs in the Garryvoe and Ballycotton area if ever you feel like eating out. You can find most of them online where you will see the menus and make a reservation ahead of time.
I would most definitely recommend keeping WaveCtest Cottage in your
“Travel Bucket List” file for when you come to Ireland, Co. Cork. Be it for a long weekend or a full on vacation, it is beautiful there.

It’s obvious that the owner of Wavecrest is very passionate about this property as a lot of thought has gone into its presentation. We booked the place for a work stay but it felt more of a holiday! The location faces the beach with stunning coastal views. The property itself has been thoughtfully decorated and is very relaxing. Every detail has been considered with everything you need for your stay. There is plenty of parking on the private drive. There was a nice basket waiting for our arrival containing bread, milk, eggs, butter, cakes etc and a bottle of wine which was a nice touch! I would not hesitate to book this property again or recommend it to others.
