Saltee View Holiday Home is a seaside holiday home located just a few steps from the coast in County Wexford. This 4-bed property is the perfect base for a pet-friendly holiday with Ballyhealy Beach just a short walk away.
Kilmore Quay village is only a 10-minute drive, so you can go shopping and be back at the seashore in no time. There are a variety of restaurants, beaches, cafes and sporting activities in the immediate area. Take in the breathtaking views of the Saltee Islands from Ballyhealy sandy beach (3.2km).
This spacious seaside holiday home is ideal for exploring Ireland’s Sunny South East. Both Wexford and Waterford are within an easy touring distance of this delightful home, a great base for your next self-catering holiday in Ireland.
This coastal holiday home has 4 bedrooms and sleeps up to 8 guests;
Ground Floor:

The family bathroom is located on the first floor with bath, wash hand basin and WC.
A mature, expansive garden surrounds Saltee View Holiday Home, a great outdoor space to relax and explore. Enjoy alfresco dining or an evening BBQ with family and friends from the outdoor furniture provider. Ample parking is available beside this holiday home, plus there is garden storage space available where bicycles and other holiday equipment can be stored.
Wi-Fi is available and free of charge.
Saltee View Holiday Home does not accept groups of young people (up to 25 years) or stag/hen parties.
Smoking is strictly forbidden at this holiday accommodation.
Guests are responsible for disposing of their own refuse at Saltee View Holiday Home. Bin disposal is available in the nearby village of Bridgetown, which is about an 8-minute drive from your holiday home. You can use the rubbish service and recycling facilities available on the grounds of Centra.
During peak season this holiday home is available on a Friday-Friday basis.
Kilmore Quay is a picturesque village located just 4.9km from Saltee View Holiday Home. You and your guests will be spoilt for choice with a variety of seafood restaurants with the fresh daily catch. There are also traditional pubs, a children’s playground, sandy coves and boat hire all in the beautiful fishing village of Kilmore Quay.
Walking the Ballyteige Burrow trail, one of the finest sand dune systems in the South East of Ireland. There are three trail options to choose from, along the beach, through the dunes or on the path by the fence that separates the dunes from the adjoining farmland. You will find an abundance of seabirds and wildlife around this nature reserve.
A little further afield is the bustling town of Wexford with many shops, restaurants, stunning blue flag beaches and a wide range of activities.

This is an extra charge which is mostly payable to the Property Manager/Owner. In some cases, energy is charged at a fixed daily rate or a rate per unit on the units consumed or you are required to top up a Pre-Paid Meter while in others, energy charges are included in the rate you have paid. We advise you to check with the local Owner/ Property Manager prior to arrival how this is calculated or prior to making the booking.
2. Security Deposit:
A minimum refundable security deposit of €200 (per property) must be paid prior to check-in to your holiday home to the local Property Manager/ Owner. This is either taken over the phone by pre-authorising your credit card when you call the Property Manager to arrange your arrival time 48 hours in advance of arrival or at others it is taken on arrival. In some locations and at certain times of year this can increase to €500 per property.

It's bathed with natural light and has plenty of space for you and your guests. Saltee View house was fantastic! From the moment I arrived, I was struck by the space, how bright and airy it was, the cleanliness, the whole house was spotless! Really good quality beds and linens! Super comfy sofa in sitting room! Huge kitchen, stosee more
Saltee View house was fantastic! From the moment I arrived, I was struck by the space, how bright and airy it was, the cleanliness, the whole house was spotless! Really good quality beds and linens! Super comfy sofa in sitting room! Huge kitchen, stocked with everything you need! Massive green area outside! Back garden was like a football pitch! Great for little ones to run around as well as dog! Beach at the end of the road, only a few minutes walk. Getting down to it a bit tricky but doable. We found another way to get to it by driving a few mins up the road. Lovely Beach!
The property manager, Mags, was wonderful. Came to visit when I first got there to make sure everything was ok. Always at the end of a phone if we had any queries . We loved our 3 weeks at Saltee View, was sad to leave! |

Fridge in kitchen a bit small. Ok if only there for a week and it’s only two of you, but If you have full house, house sleeps 8, could do with larger fridge.

Get of a house but a bit remote

Lovely house, good quality household items, decent beds and nice sheets etc.
House is fairly remote and while the beach is very short walk it’s not easy to get down to if you were not a decent climber ! Lots of other beaches a short drive away.
