About Corofin

Corofin is a quaint, rural village right in the heart of the Burren region, close to the Burren Interpretive centre in Kilfenora and under an hour’s drive from both Galway and Limerick city. The quaint village has great pubs serving food and local shops. For walking enthusiasts or nature lovers, the world-famous flora and fauna of the Burren is a real draw. There are guided walks and marked ways through the Burren all year.

Corofin Lake Cottages are beside Lake Inchiquin which makes them an angler’s paradise; boats are always available for hire. Just a few miles away is an Equestrian Centre which caters to all ages and all levels of horse-riding experience.
