About Doonbeg

Doonbeg is a small coastal village on the Wild Atlantic Way in County Clare, on the Loop Head Peninsula, which has its famous Lighthouse at its tip. It is a lively village with lots of Festivals throughout the summer months, including the sailing Regatta. There are lovely pubs and restaurants to choose from. Many say this peninsula with its panoramic views from the cliffs rivals the Cliffs of Moher. It is an unspoilt area of stunning scenery and geological importance. 

The Golf Club at Doonbeg draw visitors from all over the world to play this spectacular links course. There are splendid beaches, with Kilkee just 5km away. The nearby Tarbert- Killimer car Ferry makes a day trip to North Kerry and the Dingle peninsula very accessible, cutting 40 minutes off your road trip.
