About Kylemore
Kylemore is located near Kylemore Abbey in County Galway. It is a small settlement in the Connemara region, nestled in a picturesque landscape of woodlands, lakes, and mountains. Kylemore village serves as a gateway for visitors to Kylemore Abbey and its beautiful estate.
The village is situated in the Connemara area, known for its natural beauty. The vibrant village of Letterfrack is 6km from Kylemore. Here you will find the main entrance to Connemara National Park, the starting point for an array of stunning scenic walks. One of the most popular of these walks is the extraordinary raised pathway which leads to the top of Diamond Mountain.
There is plenty to do from Kylemore including sea or pier fishing, horse-riding, dolphin watching, hiking, cycling, and scenic boat trips to name but a few. Guests are just a short drive from the many white sandy beaches that Connemara has to offer such as Renvyle, Glassilaun and Lettergesh beaches. You will be spoilt for choice with the array of stunning beaches that the Wild Atlantic Way has to offer you and your holiday guests.
