This tastefully furnished studio apartment is centrally located in Clifden town, offering wonderful views of Clifden Bay and the surrounding countryside. Chic Studio Clifden is an ideal base for couples seeking a Connemara gateway, a stone's throw away (50m) from Clifden square. Services, markets, shops, bars and markets are almost at your doorstep.
This beautiful accommodation is all on one level and consists of a combined kitchen, dining and lounge area, and a bedroom and bathroom area which is screened from the living area.
The lounge area opens onto a decked area via sliding doors, which offers outdoor furniture and overlooks the inner harbour of Clifden Bay. The south-facing balcony at the rear of the apartment overlooks the inner harbour and offers a wonderful space to relax after a busy day.
The dining table seats 4 persons and is located adjacent to the kitchen.
The fully equipped kitchen has all modern conveniences including, an oven, hob, microwave, kettle, toaster, dishwasher, fridge freezer, washing machine and dryer.
The double bedroom (sleeping 2) is furnished with a double bed and ample storage for clothing and belongings.
The bathroom is adjacent to the bedroom and includes WC, sink, shower and heated towel rail.
This property is not suitable for children and there is no capacity for additional beds or cots.
The property is electrically heated throughout. Wi-Fi is available.
Short breaks are available.
Free public car parking is located nearby (200m) or paid on-street parking is available from 11 am-6 pm Monday-Saturday. On-street parking is free at other times.
Further afield and just a short drive away is Connemara National Park which is one of six national parks in Ireland. The park was established in 1980 and managed by the National Parks and Wildlife Service of the Department of Culture, Heritage and the Gaeltacht. Connemara National Park covers some 2,000 hectares of scenic mountains, expanses of bogs, heaths, grasslands and woodlands.
There are many walking routes in the area which offer fabulous scenic views at every turn, including the Connemara Greenway, Derrigimlagh Loop walk, and the various walking trails throughout Connemara National Park.
Kylemore Abbey is another top tourist attraction in Connemara County Galway and well worth a visit on your next self-catering holiday in County Galway.
Connemara’s rugged coastline boasts some of Ireland’s finest beaches, with stretches of pure white sands and turquoise waters. You will be spoilt for choice with the selection of sandy dotted along the coast on Galway’s Wild Atlantic Way. Two of Connemara’s must-see beaches are Dog’s Bay and Gurteen. There are many beaches dotted along the coastline and some of the more popular beaches can be found at Cleggan, Claddaghduff, Renvyle, Ballyconneely, and Roundstone.

2. Security Deposit:
A minimum refundable security deposit of €200 (per property) must be paid prior to check-in to your holiday home to the local Property Manager/ Owner. This is either taken over the phone by pre-authorising your credit card when you call the Property Manager to arrange your arrival time 48 hours in advance of arrival or at others it is taken on arrival. In some locations and at certain times of year this can increase to €500 per property.

About Clifden and the Local Area
Clifden is a vibrant seaside town packed with good restaurants, cosy cafes, lively trad bars and craft shops. There are numerous festivals throughout the year in Clifden, including the famous Connemara Pony Festival and the Arts Festival in September.
