Killybegs is a quaint fishing village located just a short stroll from Atlantic View Holiday Home. There are a wide variety of gourmet restaurants serving fresh seafood caught locally.

In the summer there is a seafood festival which attracts visitors from all over the world. The street festival celebrating the fish catches and incorporating the traditional "Blessing of the Boats".

Killybegs is a popular destination for anglers and has recently become a port for cruise ships visiting South West Donegal.

Fintra beach is a blue flag beach just 2.5km away from the holiday home perfect for bathers with its beautiful fine sand and clear waters. There are rockpools there which the children will love exploring on their next family holiday in Donegal. A walk along Killybegs shore road is a pleasant experience where you can view the many large fishing boats in the Killybegs Harbour.
