Lakeside Lodge Bantry is located in a tranquil and peaceful setting, 3km from the seaside town of Bantry in County Cork. This pretty stone holiday lodge is the perfect base for a coastal pet-friendly holiday in Ireland.
The local town of Bantry is framed by the Sheep's Head hills located on Sheep's Head Peninsula and the craggy Caha Mountains located on the stunning Beara Peninsula. Lakeside Lodge Bantry is a great base for exploring West Cork and the rugged coast of Ireland’s Wild Atlantic Way.
The utility room is perfect for additional space and storage for you and your guests.

Catch the ferry from Bantry Pier and explore Whiddy Island which lies in the beautiful Bantry Bay and features a wealth of wildlife. Dotted around the hills and valleys of Bantry is evidence of times gone by, stone circles, standing stones, stone alignments and burials. The Irish name for Bantry is Beanntraige, which comes from a son of Conor MacNessa called Beannt. Conor MacNessa was one of the kings of Ireland at the time of Christ.
Other beautiful places to visit include Gougane Barra Forest Park, Glengarriff Nature Reserve and the sub-tropical Italian gardens on Garinish Island all within a half-hour drive.
