Norah’s Cottage is a traditional Irish holiday cottage located on the counties of Cork and Kerry border, two scenic regions in the south west of Ireland.
From this pretty peaceful holiday cottage, you and your guests will enjoy beautiful countryside views. Located in the Sliabh Luachra Region which is an upland area in Munster and bounded to the south by the River Blackwater.
Just 28km from Norah’s Cottage is the bustling town of Killarney, a vibrant town which is home to the famous Killarney National Park, the first national park in Ireland.
This pet-friendly holiday cottage is ideally located for touring counties Cork, Limerick and Kerry, a great base for an Irish adventure with your beloved pet by your side.
The inviting living room is packed with character, with beautiful exposed brick and slate floor. Sit by the cosy open fire in the comfortable furnishings provided and enjoy the wonderful views across the countryside.

The bathroom is located on the ground floor and has a bath with overhead shower, hand basin and toilet.
From this pet friendly holiday cottage, you will be surrounded by magnificent scenery and an array of popular walks to explore with your beloved dog. The trails and mountains surrounding this cottage make it a perfect base for a pet friendly holiday in Ireland.
Outside this picturesque holiday cottage is a pretty patio area with garden furniture, sit back and savour the secluded and peaceful countryside.
Pay as you go Wi-Fi available at Norah’s Cottage and electricity is included in the rate. Four hours of oil heating per day is included in the rate but there is a €5 charge per hour for usage thereafter.
For groceries guests must travel to either Rathmore or Boherbue, 7km away either side of this pretty holiday cottage. Both of these pretty villages have a selection of amenities including a grocery store, pharmacy, post office, hardware store and a number of country pubs. Boherbue village also has a children's playground.
There are many fishing opportunities locally on the Blackwater and Owentaraglin Rivers known to be very popular with anglers all around the country.
Visit Tralee town or the wonderful peninsulas of Dingle and Beara, each with their variety of beautiful beaches, craggy cliffs and dramatic mountains. Local Area – Knocknagree and Boherbue
Norah’s Cottage is located between the villages of Knocknagree and Boherbue. Knocknagree is a pretty village with a selection of pubs in north-west Cork. This pristine village is 1.6km from the Cork-Kerry border, and looks south towards the Blackwater River.For groceries guests must travel to either Rathmore or Boherbue, 7km away either side of this pretty holiday cottage.
