Ballynahinch Holiday Home is set in the most idyllic setting close to Ballynahinch Castle in Recess County Galway. This spacious and luxury holiday home is surrounded by dramatic landscapes, historic sites, pretty fishing villages and vibrant towns. Ballynahinch Holiday Home is a also a pet-friendly holiday home.
The magnificent 76km Connemara Greenway passes right in front of this picture-perfect holiday home. Remember to bring your bike for a memorable cycling holiday in Connemara. From this luxury holiday accommodation, you can easily explore Moycullen, Oughterard, Mamm Cross, Recess, Ballanahinch and finishing in Clifden. In the future the Connemara Greenway will connect the bustling city of Galway to the historic town of Clifden travelling through dramatic landscapes, historic sites and stunning villages on route.
On the ground floor there is a large living room, spacious open plan kitchen and dining room. The pretty and spacious kitchen is very well equipped providing all you need for a comfortable self-catering holiday in Ballynahinch. The dining table offers ample seating and space providing a relaxing space for mealtimes with family and friends. The kitchen and dining room area overlook the custom-built BBQ and outdoor seating area. A wonderful space for relaxing after a day exploring Connemara and the surrounding enchanting woodlands.
The separate utility room has a large fridge freezer, separate freezer, microwave, washing machine and tumble dryer, a great space for extra storage. Plus there is a small WC located off the utility room.
From the living room you can enjoy views of the surrounding countryside, greenway and woodlands. The living room has comfortable furniture, a wood burning stove, large flat screen TV with Sky TV channels. The upper floor is accessible by carpeted stairs which has three large bedrooms all with en-suite bathrooms.
The beautiful holiday home has 3 bedrooms and sleeps 7 guests:
- King sized bed, single bed plus large en-suite with shower, sleeping 3
- Double en-suite bedroom, sleeping 2
- Double en-suite bedroom with dressing room and en-suite with shower, sleeping 2
The spacious king-sized bedroom offers views of the surrounding countryside and woodlands.
The property is oil centrally heated throughout.
Wi-Fi is included in the rental price. Parking available for up to three cars.

This is an extra charge which is mostly payable to the Property Manager/Owner. In some cases, energy is charged at a fixed daily rate or a rate per unit on the units consumed or you are required to top up a Pre-Paid Meter while in others, energy charges are included in the rate you have paid. We advise you to check with the local Owner/ Property Manager prior to arrival how this is calculated or prior to making the booking.
2. Security Deposit:
A minimum refundable security deposit of €200 (per property) must be paid prior to check-in to your holiday home to the local Property Manager/ Owner. This is either taken over the phone by pre-authorising your credit card when you call the Property Manager to arrange your arrival time 48 hours in advance of arrival or at others it is taken on arrival. In some locations and at certain times of year this can increase to €500 per property.

Ballynahinch Holiday Home is located beside Ballynahinch Estate. The estate has 6km of walking trails along Ballynahinch River and within the woodland with ancient oak and beech trees. Ballynahinch Holiday Home is a pet-friendly holiday home. This property will accept a maximum of 1 dog. Please reserve at the time of booking via our call centre +353 (0)1 201 8440, as your pet will not be accepted without prior confirmation. Pets are not permitted in the bedrooms, on carpeted areas or on the furniture. Pets must not be left in the property unsupervised and must be exercised off premises.
