Courtyard Holiday Cottage No 8 is part of a terrace of attractive cottages, set in a beautiful walled garden in Bettystown, County Meath. This seaside holiday cottage on Ireland’s east coast is only 1.4 km from the magnificent sandy beach in Bettystown.
Set in Ireland’s Ancient East the popular coastal town of Bettystown is a great base for a seaside holiday. The beautiful sandy beach stretches from Laytown to the mouth of the river Boyne at Mornington.
While staying at our holiday accommodation in Bettystown you are ideally situated, explore the surrounding counties of Meath, Dublin and Louth.
The kitchen is well equipped and has everything you need for a comfortable self-catering holiday in Ireland. The floors are tiled and there is a wood burning stove perfect for winter evenings after a day exploring.
This coastal holiday cottage has 3 bedrooms and sleep 5 guests comfortably:
- Double en-suite bedroom, sleeping 2
- Twin bedroom, sleeping 2
- Single bedroom, sleeping 1
All bedrooms are located on the first floor as well as the main family bathroom.
Outside this pretty holiday cottage there is a lovely well-maintained shared garden. There are a number of seating area dotted around the landscaped gardens where you can relax and unwind.
Explore Dublin on foot or hire a Dublin Bike and head west along the River Liffey to Phoenix Park. There you can visit Dublin Zoo, Áras and Uachtaráin, Wellington Monument, Ashtown Castle and Demesne, The Victorian Walled Kitchen Garden plus much more. Head back into the city centre along the river Liffey and enter Temple Bar via the famous Ha’penny Bridge. Explore the cobbled streets and lanes of Temple Bar or take in the sights from the tower at Guinness Storehouse. For some retail therapy head to Grafton Street and Henry Street where you will find a variety of clothes and gift shops.

This is an extra charge which is mostly payable to the Property Manager/Owner. In some cases, energy is charged at a fixed daily rate or a rate per unit on the units consumed or you are required to top up a Pre-Paid Meter while in others, energy charges are included in the rate you have paid. We advise you to check with the local Owner/ Property Manager prior to arrival how this is calculated or prior to making the booking.
2. Security Deposit:
A minimum refundable security deposit of €200 (per property) must be paid prior to check-in to your holiday home to the local Property Manager/ Owner. This is either taken over the phone by pre-authorising your credit card when you call the Property Manager to arrange your arrival time 48 hours in advance of arrival or at others it is taken on arrival. In some locations and at certain times of year this can increase to €500 per property.

Door leading out to a patio area, perfect for relaxing or dining.The kitchen is well equipped and has everything you need for a comfortable self-catering holiday in Ireland. Bettystown is a long-established seaside resort and popular holiday destination in Meath. Two family friendly theme parks which are easily accessible from Bettystown are Funtasia 14km and Tayto Park which is only 3km away. Both theme parks will provide a great day’s entertainment for the whole family. Courtyard Holiday Cottage No 8 is only 50km from Dublin city centre. If you wish to visit the city but want to avoid the inconvenience of bring the car you can hop on the bus which stops at the gates outside our holiday cottages. This bus will take you right into the heart of Dublin city centre.
