The Beara Peninsula is a scenic peninsula on the south-west coast of Ireland, bounded between the Kenmare "river" to the north side and Bantry Bay to the south. It contains two mountain ranges running down its centre, the Caha Mountains and the Slieve Miskish Mountains.
This picture-perfect holiday home is only 20 km away from the historic town of Kenmare with its great selection of cafés, award winning restaurants and craft shops.

Pedals & Boots is a beautiful family-run local cafe serving freshly ground coffee, selection of teas and delicious home-baking a 5-minute drive from Angelas Farmhouse. This pretty café also stocks local artisan foods and gifts. Set in a beautiful, scenic location looking across the water to Derreen Gardens. A network of winding paths passes through a mature woodland garden laid out 150 years ago with sub-tropical plants from around the world and incomparable views of the sea and mountains.
Visit Teddy O’Sullivan a two story late Victorian building with sash windows which overlooks Kilmakilloge Harbour. A quaint interior and outside there are a selection of harbour side picnic tables where you can sit and enjoy tasty locally caught seafood served daily.
From Angelas Farmhouse you are ideally situated for exploring the Healy Pass. The route officially begins at Adrigole Bridge in County Cork and proceeds to Lauragh Bridge in County Kerry. Along the way is 12 km worth of hairpin turns winding through the borderlands between these two counties.
