Self Catering Holiday Homes in Kenmare, Co. Kerry

Kenmare, County Kerry Kenmare is located on the Ring of Kerry route, on Kenmare Bay. It is a pretty heritage town, where the shops and houses are colourful and quite unique, and busy at all times of the year. There is an excellent choice of restaurants, cafes, traditional pubs where impromptu music sessions are a feature of the nightlife and there are wonderful craft shops, bookshops and galleries to browse through.

Locally there are some shingle coves all along the route towards the magnificent Derrynane Beach, 45km which is well worth a visit, the scenery and beaches here are spectacular. There are activities locally for the children, including the Sea Safari. Kenmare is a walkers' paradise as its surrounding hinterlands are located on the Beara Way and the Kerry Way offering visitors an extensive choice of graded walks. There are 2 golf courses in Kenmare, the Kenmare Golf Club, which is located in town next to the prestigious Park Hotel and The Ring of Kerry Golf and Country Club, located 5 miles out of Kenmare on the road to Sneem where our wonderful Ring of Kerry self-catering accommodation is located.

Trident Holiday Homes Cancellation Policy

We would like to reconfirm our cancellation policy regarding Covid-19:

No travel restrictions in place – if you wish to cancel a booking because you are concerned about Covid-19 or perhaps someone in your group is self-isolating or sick then this is treated as a normal cancellation, the following is applicable in this event:

8 - 4 weeks before date of arrival: in all cases the Booking Fee is non-refundable, 50% of the total booking value is withheld plus a €49 administration fee.

4 - 2 weeks before date of arrival: in all cases the €53 Booking Fee is nonrefundable, and 75% of the total booking value is withheld plus a €49 administration fee.

Less than 2 weeks before arrival date: in all cases the €53 Booking Fee is nonrefundable and 100% of the total booking value is withheld plus a €49 administration fee.

As a gesture of goodwill if we resell the date you wish to cancel then we will give you a partial refund less the Booking Fee paid. The partial refund will depend on the rate we achieve for the same period you wish to cancel.

Cancellation Policy in the Event of a County or National Travel Ban

In the event of travel restrictions due to Government directives – in the event of a county or national travel ban and as per our terms and conditions this will be treated as ‘Force Majeure’. Therefore, if Trident Holiday Homes is forced to curtail, alter or cancel a holiday, we will allow you to carry forward amounts paid for accommodation (excluding the €53 Booking Fee) to another holiday taken at the same location within 12 months of your initial booking. We will also waive 50% of the applicable Booking Fee on any new booking.

The client shall not be at liberty to maintain a claim for compensation or otherwise arising as a consequence of the said curtailment, alteration or cancellation of the holiday.
